[Mörderischer Kaiser Diederich V]'s Lore

 Note: the following content is a shortened version of the full lore, it is in the 'about' section of when you click 'Mörderischer Kaiser Diederich V''s pfp

Note 2: Most indicators of time are censored, (a) for an air of mystery, but more importantly (b) so that there's no time discrepancies accidentally made

Diederich was born as the crown prince of the Nihilhausen Empire, as 'Crown Prince Diederich Von Nihilhausen', in the year ████. His 'personal' given name was Adalbrandt.

The Nihilhausen Empire belonged to a place called the ’Reverse World', a world called that because a dimensional rift had connected it with another similar, medieval world, and so Diederich's world was considered the 'reverse' world. The reasoning for this is that although both worlds had access to magic and the same medieval setting, Diederich's world was a world that did not have an 'outer space'. Instead of all the necessities a common planet would have, the 'Reverse World' started off with an initial balanced amount of 'Life' energy and 'Death' energy. When a single 'life' was created through the existing 'life energy', the balance was broken, but in a good way. When 'life' was created, every single hour, minute and second of their existence became a producer of 'life energy'. 'Life energy' produced a semi-day and night cycle, and other necessities, as well as countered the 'Death' energy. 'Death energy' was a substance which created nothing, rather it simply accumulated whenever 'death' occurred, and petered out when met with 'life energy'. However, when 'death energy' sprung out of control (for example, over-accumulation at a certain location without enough sources of 'life energy' to counteract it), then chaos would ensue. Desertification and other forms of uninhabitable geographic locations would consume the area, as a sort of natural, automated way of preventing the production of 'life energy'. [Note: this is all important for later on]

The 'Reverse World' was made up of many nations, but the four most prominent ones were the Brandenbaümer Empire, the Principality of Sigizotz, the 13 Kingdoms Coalition, and the Nihilhausen Empire (Diederich's nation). When Diederich's father ‘Kaiser Diederich IV Adalmagne' (‘Adal' meaning 'Noble' and derived from his 'personal' name Adalberht; 'Magne' meaning 'Great', as he was able to conquer much land) passed on, Diederich became ‘Kaiser Diederich V'.

In those days, the most desired wish of the majority of the world, was the unification of the world under a singular ruler. Diederich, wishing for the respect and love of his people, trained diligently as a magic swordsman, and set out to conquer all with an immense army. After ██ years of ups and downs, he finally achieved world domination through sheer willpower, diplomacy, 'Lloyd Frontera-style financial encouragement', and strength. Through his efforts he earned the title 'Eroberer', which meant 'Conqueror'.

However, Diederich knew his domain was still yet to be solidified in his power. He planned to rule peacefully, and to do that he knew he had to please the people so that they would never willingly rebel against his rule. So, both during his conquest and after his conquest, he spent ██ long years personally inspecting every city, town, and village, making sure to take care of their every need, whether it be financial, military, or logistical support.

After returning to Diedënberg (the capital city), he set out on another journey, as a mercenary in the 'Otherworld' (the other world sharing the dimensional rift) in an expedition to ensure the 'Otherworld' never invaded. He then reached a level of power where even aging slowed. 80 years of age would still appear on the surface as 30 years of age. After that, he once again returned to Diedënberg, and officially beginning his reign of peace...was what he thought.

Naive Diederich, for he had never anticipated that after nearly 50 years of peace, he would be poisoned by his most trusted retainer, Fulchardt, with an accursed ancient poison from the 'Otherworld' that dispelled all of his skills, powers, and abilities. Fulchardt was Diederich's sworn brother, a friend who had experienced life and death with him...and someone who put Diederich in a pillory, and paraded him around every village, town and city in the world, by the very ones whom Diederich had deemed loyal and comrades. During each parade, none of the citizens that Diederich had tried so hard to please, protested; instead, they cheered, pelting him with sticks and stones. In between each parade, he was tortured with the most pain-inducing artifacts, healed, then tortured again in a seemingly perpetual cycle. 

Below is a record of a conversation during this period of suffering:

Log #3 (Near the city of Szaleć)

Fulchardt: I have to say, it's impressive how you are holding on so well. You've lost your empire, you've been betrayed by the citizens whom you've fought for all these years, and not to mention MY betrayal of you.

Diederich: You f*cking little sh*t...I'm pretty sure you born on a highway since that's where most mistakes happen*snickers* *coughs blood*

Fulchardt: *Chuckles* Not going to lie, that was a good roast *zapping sounds* however I believe your usual wits aren't with you, as it seems you've forgotten your place

Diederich: *coughing repeatedly* You f*cker...the difference between you and a bucket of sh*t is the bucket *spews blood*

Fulchardt: That one didn't hit as hard, and definitely not as hard as...THIS *zapping noises intensifies*

Diederich: YOU MOTHERF*CKAAAAAAAA- *loud coughing* *sound of head thudding against stone walls*

Fulchardt: *speaking to nearby soldier* get the healer, torture him a bit more, and we'll parade him through Szaleć next


After decades of torture and humiliation, Diederich was returned to Diedënberg, and incarcerated in 'The Confines', a prison of the highest security, in solitary confinement. He was imprisoned for 7 months, with daily flogging, no longer with a healer as he was to be executed after the 7 months of imprisonment. Diederich's eyes, whilst enduring such an ordeal, had turned from dark blue to red (from pure anger). His hair colour became a stark grey-black from having energy constantly siphoned out of him (which was the source of power for all the torture artifacts). Petrification scars and other scars littered his body, with two notably on his face.

On the ██th day of the ██th month of the year ████, Diederich was to be executed in the plaza of the capital city Diedënberg. However, due to constantly being in rage for 7 months, Diedereich was able to discover a new power: Soul Fury Energy (or SF Energy), an extremely destructive power derived from refining one’s life force through the purest forms of rage and hatred. Using a small amount of SF Energy, he was able to escape, as no one had expected his escape. He hid in a cave on Mount Bjorren, where he planned for The Omnicide of the Reverse World. Before executing his revenge on the Reverse World, Diederich made sure to thoroughly check whether his people was under hypnosis, or were being influenced, or were being pressured, or even blackmailed, however, he was enraged to find that his people, young and old, had become greedy through his prolonged peace. World peace is envisioned with lofty expectations but for every cause there is an effect. Without the worry of war, necessities, the cost of living, and survival, the people became more enraptured by the cardinal sins, especially after a prolonged generational peace such as Diederich's. Thus, he finally began his onslaught.

The palace was the first to explode, then the entire capital city. After about █ months, what used to be the former Nihilhausen Empire had been completely destroyed, with all of its people massacred. After about another ██ years, the whole world’s population had been eradicated. He had located & hunted down every living being through sheer power. Because most of life had been suddenly eradicated, there was no longer any life energy being produced, but instead constant death energy was produced, and so sunlight was replaced by eternal darkness. The death energy, over time, would condense in the form of blood, which then became the Blood Ocean that covered the entirety of the ‘Bloodied Void’, the new name of the fallen ‘Reverse World’.

Due to exhausting the life force which was needed to fuel his endeavors, after the omnicide, he died, turning to ash. It is said that he whispered “From the start of my life I had fought for the people, and now my life ends with the people fighting against me, such tragic, bitter irony” before coughing blood and collapsing. However, he is revived with the intense death energy floating around. Diederich, awakening with the power of death from committing omnicide, is naturally recognized as the owner of the ‘Bloodied Void’, the new name given to the fallen ‘Reverse World’.

As the Monarch of the ‘Bloodied Void’, he was able to do as he liked within the confines of the ‘Bloodied Void’, however, he became undead as a result. He then proclaimed himself as the “Mörderischer Kaiser”, or the “Murderous Emperor”, despite no longer having any subjects, though this was quickly solved by creating undead using the massive pool of death energy floating around the world.

Using his authority as the Monarch of the Bloodied Void, Diederich created vast armies out of the corpses from when he committed omnicide. Several legions were formed, and a fortress-megalopolis was constructed on top of the former Diedënberg, and it was named ‘Belleere’. Most were undead, but there were (rarely) others, such as lycanthropes, chimeras, ETC. These were produced from experimentation with souls, which made them different from the traditional versions (eg the Lycanthropes made in this process were Undead as a result of being able to use death energy)

During this process, Diederich realized that because no more life energy was being created, there would also be a finite amount of death energy within the Bloodied Void, meaning Diederich would eventually wither away, powerless. So, he used a very complex array to connect his ‘Bloodied Void’ to every possible dimension and universe. This would mean that not only would the Bloodied Void be infinitely large, it would also fuel an infinite amount of death energy to the Bloodied Void, as there is an infinite amount of dimensions and universes. Because of this, the Bloodied Void became a place that was infinitely expanding, and so in order to manage the entire place, fortresses were constantly and consistently constructed in a layered circular formation around the central capital, Belleere. Eventually, Diederich made it so that not only would death energy be sent to the Bloodied Void, but also the souls of the damned. This allowed Diederich to steal the achievements of the strongest deceased warriors in the form of ‘cards’, as well as add said warriors to his now infinitely-expanding army. Diederich also sealed the dimensional rift between the Bloodied Void and the 'Otherworld' so that the 'Otherworld' would not find out what had happened to the 'Reverse World' (it should be noted that the rift was obstructed - but not sealed - during the Omnicide, as a protocol during major wars, in case war was somehow spilt into the other dimension, unless one side agreed to help the other).

In the future, he would win against a coalition of the strongest Primordial Monarchs, the Purge Alliance, and claim his place as one of the strongest Primordial Monarchs. He would become allies with SnowKing and the Constellation of the Forgotten King, both Primordial Monarchs who were of the highest calibre. Diederich, once a magnanimous ruler who did all he could for world peace, now a decrepit, mentally unstable husk that felt nothing, but a powerful force, and a fearsome foe. Now, upon his golden throne he sits before the crimson shores, donned a vermillion crown & dark magenta robe, and as the sides of his mouth creeps up to form his signature Grynne™, he exclaims, "LET THE RED BANQUET BEGIN".

BONUS LORE

One time, he went in disguise to explore a certain world. A certain female began following him, which he tolerated at first, until he saw something extremely disturbing in her diary: pages were completely filled with the words "I love Diederich". While not much is known about what happened next, it should be noted that a certain planet disappeared that day.
