Note: Part of "Mörderischer Kaiser Diederich V's Lore"
Before the Mörderischer Kaiser, Diederich V, became a prominent member among the various Primordial Monarchs, he was merely a fledgling Monarch whose power came mostly from the death of lifeforms. That meant that if Diederich wanted to be truly powerful, he would need to either massacre many universes (hard to do given the numbers of Diederich's forces), or kill many Monarchs (which would be possible, but would make too many enemies in the process), or farm death energy through his many death energy collecting-portals for thousands of years, until he finally became powerful enough to fend for himseslf, against the rest of the Primordial Monarchs.
However, the other Monarchs knew this, and one particular plotted to subjugate Diederich before he became a proper threat. A high-ranking Monarch, the Radiant King, was a being a user of light-related powers, and he innately loathed Diederich, as they used polar opposite powers. Diederich's loss in war to the Wrath Castellan, Kasellon, had encouraged the Radiant King to go forward with his plan. He contacted other high-ranking Monarchs and told them his plan to destroy Diederich and his Bloodied Void, without letting Diederich know. Most refused, insisting a neutral stance, or were waiting to see what would happen, or out of animosity towards the Radiant King, but some did join in the alliance. Their alliance was named the 'Purge Alliance', as their goal was to "purge" the Bloodied Void, and ultimately kill Diederich. Their united army was called the 'Purge Coalition Army', or PCA for short.
These were the members, from highest rank to lowest rank:
The Radiant King, Lux Von Jehan: Someone who, on a planet named Earth, would be called a "stereotypical Isekai MC", and also believed everything he did was righteous and correct. Spearheaded the alliance and innately abhored Diederich merely because they used polar-opposite powers. He viewed Diederich as 'evil' while he saw himself as 'good'. This innate hatred was due to the fact that while his power was super effective against Diederich, Diederich's power was also super effective against the Radiant King. So, he planned to eliminate Diederich before he became a threat. He is also a hypocrite, as in his greed, he planned to take the prized weapons of the Bloodied Void, as they were known for their power.
The Castellan of Wrath,
Kasellon Bróðir Ianuarius: A Monarch whose power level was not far behind that of the Radiant King. Being a pure-blooded 'battle junkie', he was obsessed with waging war, and had ascended to becoming a Primordial Monarch through sheer skill in the ways of the nomadic warrior. Prior to joining the alliance, he had defeated Diederich, and had made Diederich set up a portal for the Wrath Castellany (Kasellon's ruling dominion) to freely enter, as well as hand over a small portion of the Bloodied Void as a colony, and pay a tribute of 3 million blood weapons each year to the Wrath Castellany (
for reference, that's a ninth of the total number of rifles produced by major countries in WW2). Kasellon joined the 'Purge Alliance', as the Radiant King claimed that the weapons seized from the Bloodied Void would greatly increase Kasellon's army's overall military prowess.

The Basileus of Achilleus, Adamantios Radovan Cyriacus: A no-life who literally dedicated his whole life to water. He is much weaker than Kasellon, however, the strength of his paladins is comparable to the soldiers of the Radiant King. He is the Radiant King's loyal lackey, and only joined the 'Purge Alliance' out of this loyalty. (Also, he publicly hates SnowKing, but inside, he's secretly terribly afraid of SnowKing, as SnowKing uses a power that could easily turn the water that the Basileus dedicated his whole life to, against him.)
The Voievod of Zăpîrțan-Ladislești, Constantin Zăpîrțan-Ladislești: A Monarch whose overall standing among all the Primordial Monarchs had fell greatly with the coming of the younger generations. He was one of the Seeking to return glory to his dominion, the intergalactic "Voivodeship of Zăpîrțan-Ladislești", he joined the 'Purge Alliance' in order to seize resources from the Bloodied Void, and make he & his army stronger.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 'Purge Coalition Army' (PCA) set up many portals and were transported into the Bloodied Void's Central Domain (BV-CD), where Diederich's capital fortress laid. However, because they were forced to pass through the semi-permeable barrier surrounding the Bloodied Void (set up by Diederich when the Bloodied Void was formed), all members were transported to random locations across the BV-CD. Yet the enemy managed to regroup (albeit with great casualties), and managed to form a proper frontline against Diederich’s Army. The Achillians took over the north, the Radiant Army took over the East and the Ladisleștians took over the central area. Diederich focused on the other nations and ignored the south, which was given to the Wrath Castellany as payment in the previous conflict (see above). Diederich believed that since the Wrath Castellany had already been given land, plus the fact that the Wrath Castellany was a nation that focused mainly on strength rather than material gain, they would remain neutral in this war. However, this notion betrayed him, as the Wrath Castellany soon followed suit, and occupied the south expanse. This meant that Diederich was left with only the Western block. Below is a map illustrating the situation:

The PCA, having completely joined up, formed a formidable western front against Diederich, who was now defending against an enemy army that had reached the last wall (line) of defense for defending the capital fortress city, at the ‘Great Wall of 18 Bloodied Peaks’ (see image above). This wall was enchanted and enchanced with a multitude of barriers, however, it would be impossible for it to withstand a continuous onslaught, especially with the presence of high-ranking Monarchs. Although it seemed to be a blunder on Diederich’s part for not eliminating such an important variable beforehand, it should be remembered that if Diederich had fought Kasellon, the result would be a draw at best, considering how Diederich lost the previous war to Kasellon, as well as having most of his army fighting the rest of the PCA. The war reached a stalemate between the two sides, and the PCA constantly sent messengers demanding surrender. Diederich realized that the enemy coalition knew that an overly prolonged fight would be against them, as Diederich’s army was mostly undead, which did not require logistical support apart from weapons, and reinforcements came from the death of the enemy. Because of this, Diederich deduced that the enemy would launch a series of devastatingly heavy attacks with the goal of ending the besiegement at the ‘Great Wall of 18 Bloodied Peaks’.
A plan was, therefore, formulated. It was split into two parts: a series of minor operations (aimed at weakening & inconveniencing the enemy troops, and ultimately reduce their efficacy), and a major operation, which the minor operations were conducted in order to assist.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The main operation went like this. Diederich subtly siphoned away his own military power, feigning weakness due to the continuous onslaught (as, in order to fool the enemy, one must fool their allies first. This meant that Diederich's own forces - the ones with consciousness - earnestly believed they were losing, and this meant they would naturally act as if they losing), specifically and only for the forces defending against the onslaught led by the Wrath Castellan. This was done to encourage the Wrath Castellan (who, hitherto had been the only monarch to lead each cavalry charge against Diederich’s forces) to lead the main charge against the wall defenders on his border/frontline. It was planned for the Wrath Castellan, being the second-most powerful in the Purge Alliance, to kill as many expendables (thus boosting his ego and confidence), before allowing him to crack a hole into the barrier protecting the ramparts of the wall and thus drawing him into the hinterland beyond the walls.
Diederich sequentially let half of the Void Commanders defend the now-exposed wall from the encroaching invaders (who were expected to be suffering from the minor operations - see above - this was of vital importance, as now the other three monarchs would lead their forces into the Wrath Castellan’s domain and then through the breach in the barrier).
Diederich - barely - held off against the Wrath Castellan, while the rest of his Void Commanders, having been buffed using various buffs right before the breach, would attack the Wrath Castellan’s own commanders. Then, Diederich quickly revived the Castellan’s fallen commanders as Diederich’s own, before finally taking down the Wrath Castellan and turning him into a fine addition to Diederich’s army (he was also disguised in a way that made him look normal, as if he was still alive). This was to be done within strict timeframes, especially with the threat of the breach of the wall widening.
The Wrath Castellan then had his consciousness removed, before finally becoming Diederich’s undead puppet, and was maneuvered into retreating and persuading the fast approaching forces from the other Monarchs to do likewise, while being made to say “Diederich was too powerful; he made an unbelievably powerful beast that nearly killed me inside the walls, do not approach”. It was also made sure that the other monarchs’ armies would be unequivocally told that the Wrath Castellan’s commanders were slain. During this, Diederich’s subordinates were to kill as many of the Wrath Castellan’s troops as possible, since just because the commander is under control doesn’t mean his soldiers would likewise. This was all for the next part of the plan.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As per the protocols settled on by the 'Purge Alliance', after the now-puppeteered Wrath Castellan ‘retreated’ back to his domain, the three other monarchs sent shamans and envoys, along with several battalions of the strongest soldiers, to the Wrath Castellan’s occupied domain, in order to check whether or not the Wrath Castellan had been killed and turned into a member of Diederich’s army. Now, the Wrath Castellan, being someone who loved to lead the charge of cavalry, usually lived fairly close to the frontlines. Using this to his advantage, Diederich puppeteered the slain commanders of the Wrath Castellan’s army into leading their fellow slain Wrath Castellany soldiers into battle against the Wrath Castellan’s remaining (alive) army. They were also reinforced with the same Void Commanders that had killed them. The goal was to completely assimilate the Wrath Castellany’s soldiers by killing them, as well as kill the shamanic envoy squad so that they could not analyze the Wrath Castellan, in a way that it looked like they were killed during the crossfire (and thus killing two birds with one stone).
It was also barely a coincidence, as the remaining belligerent monarchs believed that Diederich had simply chosen an apt time to counterattack the Wrath Castellan: when the Wrath Castellany Army was at its weakest. It was a hard fight but eventually the Wrath Castellany Soldiers were wiped out, though a number of survivors joined up with the remnants of the Shamanic Envoy Squad. Diederich, in order to maximize the amount of damage done to the enemy, puppeteered the Wrath Castellan into joining the Shamanic Envoy Squad. Diederich knew that the fact that the Wrath Castellan was actually dead would be exposed sooner or later, so he decided to exploit this variable one last time.
Below is what happened:
In the following days, Diederich, having finally taken down the southern front, moved onto the next easiest target: the Voievod of Zăpîrțan-Ladislești. Diederich had lost land to them only because it was impossible to counterattack without facing the brunt of the Achillians and the Radiant Army. However, with most of the strongest members of the PCA killed (and turned into subordinates who now instead fought against the PCA) and facing against both Diederich (who became reinforced due to all the successive bloodshed in his favor) & the puppeteered Wrath Castellans, the Ladisleștians toppled quickly, with the Voievod also captured, before their army was assimilated into Diederich’s now-rapidly replenishing army. The Voievod was taken to the plaza of the fortress city, and was swiftly beheaded, before being converted into an extremely powerful Dullahan, and was equipped with Blood Weapons from the armory. This marked a decisive victory against the Central Front.
The PCA, now facing the war turning against them, began retreating (for map, see map above). The Radiant Army managed to salvage a part of the eastern side of the formerly occupied territory of the Wrath Castellany, however, the Radiant Army and the Achillians were now backed into the literal corner called the North-Eastern Front. For the PCA, stalemate was no longer an option, as whenever a member of their side fell, it was equivalent to giving away a soldier to Diederich’s army. The Radiant King, Lux, and the Basileus of Achilleus, Adamantios, realizing they had literally no other choice, decided to go all out in one final stand.
Adamantios was killed early on in the battle, in a 1v2 fight against the Voievod and Wrath Castellan. Lux, the Radiant King (being the strongest in the entire PCA), was injured later on, after exhausting his energy fighting Diederich (whose power grew due to the immense levels of Death Energy collected hitherto in the war), and later against Basileus Adamantios. He attempted to escape with the greatly diminished remnants of the PCA, however, he was finally slain by Diederich’s signature ‘Pure Void Annihilation Technique Set’. He was the final monarchical addition to Diederich’s army, and
his death marked the end of the war. After this, Diederich led his greatly expanded army against the respective worlds of the monarchs he had slain. The Radiant World was slaughtered mercilessly, with all its denizens turned into Yin (Darkness) Warriors by Diederich’s necromancy and synthetic abilities, as a sort of cruel irony. The Radiant King was also subjected to this, and was renamed the "
Yin Lord, Hadrien", and everyone had their consciousness taken. The world of Achilleus was next to go. These were converted to Phantom Warriors, and Basileus Adamantios became the "
Phantom Commander ████". Next, the members of the world of the Wrath Castellany were turned into Fire Demons. The Wrath Castellan Kasellon was renamed the "
Hellfire Commander, Eganbrandt" (a name that means 'fire sword'). The members of the Voivodeship were not, however, kept. Instead, they were turned into Blood Ego Weapons. The Voievod, however, as mentioned before, became a Dullahan, was given the rank of Transcendant Overlord and renamed "
Transcendant Overlord of Undead Cavalry, Vladislav", and went under the jurisdiction of the pre-existing Undead Commander Adalhard.
After this war, Diederich became truly acknowledged as a force that should be trifled with.
(Note: Being a war between primordial monarchs, it should be expected that the level of battle was at such a level. The ‘Great Wall of 18 Bloodied Peaks’ was a strengthened wall that could withstand even the strongest attacks of Primordial Monarchs, however continued attacks on it would slowly weather it away and eventually destroy it. Sneak attacks to either side would not work as even the most basic of soldiers would be able to detect the attackers from far away. Spies were not usable for similar reasons. Flying would not have worked as the barrier would’ve prevented entry. The death energy was collected was immense because the Monarchs were rulers of galaxies, and their armies were proportional as such.)
