[Void King's Lore]
The Eternal Chronicle of the Void King: Expanded Edition
Before the first flicker of light pierced the dark, before time could etch its marks into existence, there was chaos—a cacophony of formless energy raging in the endless abyss. From within this turmoil arose a presence, not born but willed into being by the cosmos itself. They were the Void King, a being who embodied not just balance but the very essence of the void: a paradox of infinite destruction and infinite creation.
The Void King was not content to let chaos reign. With a sweep of their will, they divided the primal storm, pulling light from dark and order from entropy. This act birthed the first great forces of existence: the elements, the galaxies, and the unyielding pull of time. They did not rule these creations but oversaw them, guiding their growth while ensuring that no force became too dominant. For every sun they allowed to burn, they placed a void to contain it.
As time stretched its fingers across the multiverse, other beings rose to power, staking their claim over fragments of existence. They were monarchs—rulers of elements, dimensions, and forces beyond mortal comprehension. And though they ruled their realms with conviction, none could match the raw presence of the Void King.
The Duel of Monarchs: The Snow King
The Snow King was one of the first to challenge the Void King. His realm was a frozen expanse, where time itself seemed to slow, and even chaos could not penetrate the endless blizzards. The Snow King was proud, his mastery over frost and stillness unparalleled. He did not simply wield the void; he sought to command it, shaping it into biting winds and icy storms.
The battle began on the edge of his frozen domain. The Snow King summoned an avalanche of ice and void, a tempest so cold it threatened to freeze the very fabric of reality. The winds howled with the cries of fractured dimensions, each shard of ice capable of severing a galaxy; a power cultivated from centuries & millenia of absorbing Yin energy from the souls of the damned.
However, the Void King did not move. They stood amidst the storm, their form untouched, as if the chaos itself recognized its master. With a flick of their hand, the storm unraveled. The ice, the winds, even the void itself, dissolved into nothingness.
The Snow King's rage boiled over, and he unleashed one of his greatest weapons: the Frozen Heart, a core of concentrated void encased in unbreakable ice. It pulsed with energy capable of freezing time itself. When the Snow King hurled it, the multiverse seemed to hold its breath.
Yet the Void King caught it. Not with force, but with calm. Their hand closed around the Frozen Heart, and its glow dimmed, its power bending to the will of the Void King.
Yet, the Void King did not destroy him. Instead, they extended their hand and offered the Snow King a fragment of chaos, a gift imbued with potential. “Grow,” the Void King said, their voice echoing through the frost. “Your mastery is great, but it is incomplete. Learn from this.”The Snow King accepted the gift, not as a defeated foe but as a trusted ally.
The Duel of Monarchs: Mörderischer Kaiser Diederich V
Mörderischer Kaiser Diederich V was the absolute Monarch of Death. His realm was the 'Bloodied Void', a ghostly realm of ruin, devoid of life, and covered by a literal ocean of blood. Creatures such as the undead, vampires, and ghouls dwelled about, entering portals to invade other dimensions, and sought to conquer them for their master.
The Void King's arrival in Diederich's realm was met with open hostility by such creatures. Yet they like ants, dissolving before even catching the notice of the Void King.
The Void King entered Diederich's palace, where Diederich reclined upon a crimson accubitum. "Why have you trespassed upon my realm?" Diederich inquired, slightly irritated. "Do you think you own every monarch's domain simply because you existed for longer?"
"Well, clearly being younger doesn't make you smarter," the Void King replied, nonchalantly. "Otherwise you wouldn't be argueing senselessly with me like this."
Diederich was annoyed but he did not want to drag this out further. "So why are you here today?"
"I would like to bestow upon you this Fragment of Chaos," the Void King said, calmly. "Learn its purpose. Wield its power."
This was the last straw for Diederich. "Ah yes, the Fragment of Chaos, a symbol of your power," he snarled. "If I were to accept this, it would be the same as subordinating myself to you." Diederich quickly equipped himself and attacked the Void King with his signature 'Purple Eclipse 5th Form, True Monarch's Gungnir'.
The powerful attack caught Void King unaware, and the Void King staggered back. The Void King quickly used the power of the Void to regenerate at lightning speed, however, and delivered fast counter-attacks, their eyes glowing with a lightless hue. Diederich immediately retaliated fiercely with the rest of the 'Purple Eclipse' series attacks. In response, the Void King raised one hand, and reflected most back (even though even the strongest of Monarchs would be unable to do so), and while some attacks hit the Void King, they were able to regenerate quick enough to nullify any damage. On the other hand, the attacks that were reflected back to Diederich, were simply re-absorbed, as he wielded Death energy, and Death energy obeyed him. Thus, a stalemate was formed, and while either side tried to attack each other, neither of them attacks did any meaningful damage.
In the end, however, Diederich conceded. "It is not a draw, since I know that, given the battle lasted for a few centuries longer, you would have won. However, there is no point fighting for that long, since I believe both of us have more important things to do, but I refuse to serve you."
The Void King stepped forward, and calm & unequivocally said, "You misunderstand me. I am not trying to subordinate you, I am simply offering you power."
With that, the Void King disappeared, leaving Diederich, who held the Fragment of Chaos in his withered hand, perusing it with a slight, albeit begrudgingly, curiosity.
The Battle against Voidslayer Phoenix
Of all the challenges the Void King faced, none were as personal as Voidslayer Phoenix. A warrior born of chaos and prophecy, Phoenix was destined to end the Void King's reign. They trained for centuries, mastering techniques designed to counter the Void King's power.
When the day of their confrontation arrived, Phoenix was prepared. They stood on the edge of a collapsing star, their weapon—a blade forged from time and chaos—gleaming with the purpose to kill.
The Void King appeared, their form indistinct, their presence consuming. Phoenix wasted no time, striking with a precision that bent the laws of reality. Time slowed, then fractured, as Phoenix unleashed an onslaught of attacks designed to bypass even the Void King's defenses.
But the Void King was not merely a monarch of the void; they were its master. With each strike, they unraveled the threads of Phoenix's attack, redirecting the energy into the collapsing star.
Then, as Phoenix prepared their final blow, the Void King raised a hand—not to fight, but to turn back time itself. The battlefield dissolved, and Phoenix found themselves standing as a child, staring into the eyes of a figure they now knew as their uncle.
The Void King had rewritten their story, not to erase it but to give it meaning. As Phoenix grew under their uncle's guidance, they learned the true nature of chaos and the void. Their blade, once meant to destroy, became a tool of creation.
Eternal Balance
The Void King continues to walk the multiverse, their presence felt in the ripple of stars and the hum of galaxies. Their battles are not merely victories but lessons, their gifts not rewards but opportunities. For they are the Void King, the eternal monarch of balance, and their story is as endless as the void itself.
